Here’s some official tips for you guys playing Solo Arena 2 on the iPhone;
Basic's:
· Don’t stop near to edge of the screen, foes may sneak up on you.
· Don’t forget to use your rockets they do the equivalent damage of 100 bullets and are not destroyed on impact.
· Don’t forget to buy things from the shop when you have money, prices don’t change so there never a reason not to spend as much as you can improving your character.
· You can pause the game by tapping the black bar at the top.
Advanced:
· When using rockets try and line up as many foes as possible since rockets don’t get destroyed on impact you can destroy all the foes on screen with one if your careful.
· On early levels try avoiding crystals instead shoot down foes; this will allow Solo to gain experience and increase stats like strength that will come more handy later on.
· Only Grab special items if your SP bar is full if not it will drain even faster.
· Multi-touch controls; you can rotate and accelerate at the same time with practise you can learn how to “loop-to-loop” around enemies moving towards your direction and shoot them in the back as the fly away.
· The difficulty mode not just increase enemies statistics and speed, but also your rotation speed.
Shop:
· Rockets are incredibly handy, there’s no limit to the maximum capacity, I recommend spending most of your money on them and learn how to use them.
· If you find yourself seeing the Game Over screen it may be wise to buy some more Max HP.
· Advance users I recommend going for your stamina, with enough, and destroying foes you will never have to be a non-special status multiplying all your statistics the whole time.
Evolution:
After the second boss (zone 11) Solo will evolve, you will get the choice between Light evolution or Dark evolution:
· Light Solo: Huge Max HP capacity increase, Huge Max Stamina capacity increase, small strength increase (x2)
· Dark Solo: Strength x3
As you can tell Light Solo gets allot of bonuses and I recommend him for most players, but Dark Solo strength increase is really noticeable and also very useful on boss fights but either way you can’t go wrong here.
